Wendell H. Brown grew up among the rolling hills of Southern Indiana on the banks of the Ohio River. He has three degrees from universities located in Indiana.

His photography has been juried into numerous shows including the Florida Contemporary Show at the Naples Museum of Art. He has received first place awards and he has had solo exhibits. His photography appears in regional magazines, newspapers, exhibitions and galleries.

Wendell has a passion for mountain hiking. He has hiked many western US ranges, including Mt Rainier, and spent much time in the South American Andes Mountains.
